James Van Praagh Posted on 2018-09-222023-06-28 By Cath B “If you feel that you don’t fit in or belong here – you’re a lightworker. You are a spiritual being having spiritual experiences, and if you choose out of fear, you are not happy! Choose out of love, and you will be happy.” ~ James Van Praagh I admire James Van Praagh and his continuing work to teach us to be more aware of our surroundings, our inner spirit, the Universe and the afterlife. After reading his books, I came to an understanding of why I have always felt different and why I had a hard time fitting in. It was a relief to know that I wasn’t a “freak” and wasn’t imagining Spirit. His words gave me answers and insight into why I have experienced certain encounters and what I can do to help others. Spirituality has always been a big part of me since I was a child. I could hear and see spirits, just like my mother. But I had no one that really understood me or believed me. My mother believed me, but in my teens, I felt confused and tried to hide it. It wasn’t until in my early 20s that Spirit “came” back. In the 90s, I met a woman who was a medium, and she became my best friend. She taught me cartomancy, and it was a relief to finally have someone I could talk openly with about my experiences. I then moved on to tarot, and I bought my first tarot deck in 1997 and dived into the world of tarot and intuition. After doing tarot readings for friends and family for years, I decided to go professional and launched my website Cosmic Moon in January 2011, and I have worked with clients worldwide. “When you don’t like who you are, others can easily influence you. Learn to love yourself as you are right now. Your love will help you let go of negative people and experiences.” ~ James Van Praagh In August 2011, I attended a workshop by James Van Praagh and Tony Stockwell at the College of Psychic Studies in London. It was an amazing experience, and I truly enjoyed it. I met some fantastic souls, and I learned a lot. Despite his success, books and Ghost Whisperer, James was a very compassionate teacher with enormous humour and a down-to-earth approach. James and Tony worked well together, and I understand why they decided to do these workshops. I was also amazed by the rate of this full-day workshop. In all, I paid £100, which is a very modest rate. It was worth every penny 🙂 “If you’re on the path you’re meant to be on, everything falls into place; the Universe is telling you that. If you are not on the right path, you will experience roadblocks all along the way, and this is also the Universe telling you to stop, look, and ask if this is where you are supposed to be.” ~ James Van Praagh Photos by Cath B.
